Learning to discover more about yourself is the beginning of learning to fully discover your purpose in life.
Then you ask yourself this rhetorical but simple question, WHO AM I?
who are you? At first, you will begin to have some deep thought about what you do, the church or mosque you attend, your school, the course you are studying, your religious position,…trying to dig down more about yourself but yet, you won’t have a sense of acknowledgement that you actually really know who you are?
This question comes again in another way to you, is the answer what you love doing? Or is it your aspirations and goals? Your family background or educational level? Or is it your wants and needs? Yet, none of this is the right answer to who you are!
You may even want to overlooked it, saying, “after all it’s your life, you don’t owe anyone any answer, you are not obliged to give answer to this one question, it’s your life anyway, nobody can judge you for not discovering who you are”
Well, you are not obliged to answer this question, but you will be obliged to provide the answer to your creator. Although nobody can judge you anyway, but there is a judgment awaiting you after this life…just a reminder.
Getting to discover, recover and uncover more about yourself is as simple as getting to know the source of your being.
The secret, solution and answer to this rhetorical but simple question is knowing your source, your foundation, and your beginning.
As it’s obvious to know that every product either big or small, minor or major, essential or non essential has a source, it’s producer, maker, and manufacturer…so we have too.
Nothing has ever exited without a source, a maker, a foundation…a beginning.
Then, who is my maker. what is my source..My foundation..My beginning?
Have you ever thought about how you came into this world, have you ever thought of it that ‘am I a biological accident that comes as a result of my dad and mum mating each other” or is it that my father mistakenly mate with my mother and gave birth to me? Was i a born by mistake according to my life history?”
Well, you ain’t a biological accident, neither are you a born by mistake nor born by circumstances. You are born by purpose. You’ve been predestined, predetermined and preordained before you were found in your mother’s womb? By who???
By GOD..
Your God is your source. Your Creator is your maker. Your Saviour is Your Foundation.
So before you can ever think of knowing the fullness of you, before trying to think and think about who you think you may be, before trying to cook some ideas about who you think you are supposed to be, why can’t you take time to know your source first? Why can’t you take time to discover your foundation? Why can’t you put efforts in knowing your maker?
How much do you know about your God? How much do you know about your creator? How much can you tell others about your source? Can the world be convinced that you know your foundation? Who is your maker to you?
Knowing your God, knowing your maker, knowing your Savior, knowing your foundation is the secret of knowing yourself.
You cannot know the fullness of your self, without knowing the mind of your maker.
You cannot discover the maximum of yourself, without discovering the wonders of your creator,
You cannot recover your hidden true self, without recovering the mystery behind your foundation,
You cannot totally uncover your potentials, without uncovering the works of your saviour.
Before you think of who you are, think of who made you!!
…Get to know more about GOD, move closer to His word and you will get to discover more hidden truth about yourself, your existence and life.
